As the pace of climate change quickens and its impacts intensify, explorations of its significance for war grows increasingly urgent. 

The role that climate change plays in causing or exacerbating conflict demands rethinking fundamental questions about religion, war and violence.

With an eye on current and emerging conflicts, ethicist Mark Douglas will suggest ways to rethink just war and pacifist traditions, reshaping them to address wars in a warming world.
